half marathon training: week 1.

Today's workout was a long walk.

I walked for 1 hour, 40 minutes. I would have gone longer, but I ran out of time! It ended up being a total of 6 miles. If I wouldn't have taken Max for the first half of it, I'm sure it would have been much longer and faster paced. He isn't nearly as interested in speed as he is in sniffing and peeing! Lol. I got irritated with him after the first 3 miles, so I walked him home and finished the rest on my own. At least now I know better for next time! The only bad thing is that I feel a blister on my ankle forming. That's not good!

Tomorrow I'll be up bright and early for my 5 am run!
