day 83: cassandra

I can't even believe I'm still posting on this blog. It's been almost a year since I started it. CRAZY!

Feeling fat and engorged, I put on my big girl panties and went for a run in the woods. I ended up getting lost - which was a blessing in disguise because it caused me to burn more calories than I normally would have. I made my way back home safely, but had to cut through some private property...they'll never know ;)

42 minutes = 409 calories

I've been working out, but not remembering to post. Oops.

Various cardio for two days = 936 calories burned.

Burn Hour at the gym this afternoon = 597 calories burned.

Wow. I'm beat!

I did some strength-training while watching Drop Dead Diva before work this evening. It's not epic, but I think it counts.

No clue how many calories I burned, but I did get my heart-rate up by doing lunges and squats. Again, not epic...but 'twas better than eating ice cream while watching Drop Dead Diva, right?

Annoyed because today was official weigh-in day and I've gained a pound. UGH!

I am right back where I was when this whole thing started. Do you see how fat and happy having my husband home from Iraq causes me to be?!

Oh well. Next week is a new week. Back on the saddle, my friends.

day 75: cassandra

This was from Friday.

300 calories of cardio + 137 calories of strength training = 437 calories total

I FEEL better this week, but I have a feeling I haven't lost any weight. I wish I could get better control on my diet/calorie-counting, but that's the hardest part for me. I get so hungry!

What I need to do is go grocery shopping according to the diet plan I received at the class I attended. But...that means going to Walmart...and that's not going to happen on a weekend. Maybe tomorrow.
